PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus for nursing care which achieves a high safety level for bathing persons. SOLUTION: The bathing apparatus for nursing care is equipped with a bathtub activating means comprising a motor, a screw shaft extending in the vertical direction in which the screw shaft is driven to rotate by the motor, and a movable body of a ball screw type which engages the screw shaft and moves vertically when the screw shaft rotates, a pivot part which supports the rear part of the bathtub pivotally relative to the movable body, wheels provided ahead of the pivot part on the bottom part of the bathtub, and a guiding slanting surface which is a travelling surface for the wheels and is slanted downward from behind to the front. The bathtub varies the inclination to change the upper surface opening between a state of directing almost forward and a state of directing almost upward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
