The system has windscreen wiper control/regulating devices that are connected for controlling/regulating a windscreen wiper such as a rain sensor, of a motor vehicle. A control/regulating unit includes an actuator that is connected with a sensor. The actuator is controlled/regulated by output signals of the unit for providing the actuator in different functional/operating conditions. The output signals are determined based on sensor data of the sensor. An independent claim is also included for a control/regulating unit.
