A method and an apparatus of training are provided to enable a user to check one's training state easily according to a comparative result of a training image and a user's photographed image using a PVR function, and to give posture correction information obtained by difference of the two images to a user. The method of training comprises the steps of: storing pattern information and movement information of a trainer; generating training image information that displays the trainer's pattern information according to the trainer's movement information; outputting the image information; photographing movement of a user; and guiding a result by comparing the photographed image with the training image information.
