<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid measuring cap capable of smoothly returning liquid content collected in a liquid receiving section through a liquid returning opening to a measuring chamber, regardless of the liquid content being of high viscosity. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid measuring cap 10 comprises: a cap body 16 that forms the measuring chamber 12 as the cap body is placed onto a container body 11, with a nozzle 15 arising from a bottom part 12a provided, while including a spout 13 at a ceiling part 12b; a cover cap 18 connected to the cap body 16 through hinges 17a, 17b and opens and closes the spout 13 and the spout outlet 15a of the nozzle 15; a dripping preventing dam 19 around the spout 13 and a liquid receiving section 20 enclosed with the dam; and a liquid returning opening 21 at the liquid receiving section 20. The liquid receiving section 20 has a width (b) through which the liquid content is allowed to flow down toward the liquid returning opening 21, and when the cover cap 18 is closed, a depth is secured such that a spacing (s) equal to or greater than the width (b) can be maintained between the lower edge of an inner seal 22 engaged around the spout outlet 15a and the bottom face 20a of the liquid receiving section 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
