<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adequately enabling fuel cell reactivation when another start signal is received again from an ignition switch while scavenging as the system is halted on receiving a stop signal received from the ignition switch in a short period of time after a start signal has been received from the ignition switch. <P>SOLUTION: If the start signal "IGon" is received from an ignition switch 76 while air scavenging is performed at an anode electrode to remove liquid drops in a fuel gas path 148 by means of compressed air supplied from an air compressor 36 by opening an air induction valve 54, the activation of a fuel cell 14 is inhibited until the liquid drops in the fuel gas path 148 are completely replaced with air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
