<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting source which can have less color shading of a color of emitted light and can enhance a light extracting efficiency, and to provide an luminaire using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting source (1) contains a substrate(10), a base (12) provided on the main face (10a) of the substrate (10), a light-emitting element (13) mounted onto the main face (12a) of the base (12), and a wavelength conversion layer (15) which converts a partial wavelength of light emitted from the light-emitting element (13). The light-emitting element (13) is covered with the wavelength conversion layer (15) through a transluscent layer (14); and the light-emitting source (1) has a height of the main face (12a) of the base (12), on the basis of the main face (10a) of the substrate (10) which is higher than a shortest distance between the main face (10a) of the substrate (10) and the wavelength conversion layer (15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
