PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor which improves the strength and rigidity of a base of a steering wheel without resulting in increase in size or weight or the like of a component.
SOLUTION: When the outboard motor 1 is removed from an outboard-motor boat and stored, a worker rotates a second stopper 32 clockwise by resting the finger on a finger-resting piece 48. Because of this, the engagement part 47 of the second stopper 32 is disengaged from an engagement recess 44 of a first stopper 31. Thus, the worker presses down the steering wheel 22 while maintaining the second stopper 32 in the as-is status. Then the steering wheel 22 and the first stopper 31 are integrally rotated with each other clockwise, and are brought into a position for storage. The steering wheel 22 is maintained in the position for storage by friction.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
