<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a sheet-shaped matter laminated body used for a liquid crystal display element by a simpler process than before resulting in advantages in both cost and quality aspects. <P>SOLUTION: Two or more optical sheets are laminated, through holes 80 are formed in one or more parts of a peripheral edge of the laminated body and fellow optical sheets are engaged with each other by the through holes. Therefor a manufacturing apparatus, which is equipped with a table 54 for holding two or more laminated optical sheets, a raising/lowering stage 56 for raising/lowering a plurality of needle members N and a heating means for heating the needle member and which can form the through holes by the heated needle members in one or more parts of the peripheral edge of the optical sheet laminated body, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
