<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase structure which has a function of enabling ascent/descent to the floors above or the floors below, and which is also provided with an appropriate function in addition to the movement function. <P>SOLUTION: A step height part 3 of a staircase 2 is provided in a home 1, and an overhanging space 4 is provided which is brought into contact with the home 1.
