<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connection of a cylindrical heavy-current contact socket or a heavy-current contact pin to a planar printed conductor element and the connection process. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the electrical connection 1 between the cylindrical heavy-current contact socket 5 or the heavy-current contact pin 20 and the printed conductor element 2 with two opposed flat surfaces 3, 4. The heavy-current contact socket 5 or the heavy-current contact pin 20 is held on the opening 12 in the planar printed conductor element 2, and projects beyond these two flat surfaces 3, 4. A contact element 13, 14 surely connected to the heavy-current contact socket 5 or the heavy-current contact pin 20 is installed on each of the flat surfaces 3, 4.
