PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charging equipment which can charge a built-in battery at high speed, while suppressing the enlargement of device size. SOLUTION: In the case that a current flowing to a power transformer 101 is over a specified value or that the temperature of the power transformer 101 is over a specified value, an isolating switch 104 cuts off the circuit to stop the charge to a storage battery. Hereby, it can charge the storage battery of a battery part 105 at high speed while protecting the circuit element of itself. Therefore, it can obviate the necessity of giving an excessive margin to the current capacity of the circuit elements constituting the charging equipment, so it can suppress the enlargement of circuit elements and the increase in number of pieces, and also can reduce the cost.
