PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent composition capable of obtaing a durability for high cleaning property and the foam-suppression property even at a low temperature, and suppressing solidification of the cleaning agent when discharging the cleaning liquid in a single tank type steel strip cleaning step. SOLUTION: The cleaning agent composition for single tank type steel strip cleaning contains an alkaline agent (a), a nonionic surfactant (b), a chelating agent (c), a branched-chain alcohol (d), and water.
