PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger preventing the deterioration of heat exchange efficiency. SOLUTION: A gas cooler 1 is provided with a pair of header tanks 2, 3 and a plurality of heat exchange pipes 4 arranged in parallel between both header tanks 2 and 3. The first header tank 2 is provided with an inlet header 10A and an outlet header 10B arranged in parallel in the vertical direction. Both the header tanks 2, 3 are constituted by stacking an outer side plate 7, an inner side plate 8, and an intermediate plate 9 and brazing them. Two upper and lower outward swelling parts 11A, 11B are formed on the outer side plate 7 of the first header tank 2, and each part corresponding to each outward swelling part 11A, 11B is used as each header 10A, 10B. A partitioning part 27 is formed of a flat part 26 between both the outward swelling parts 11A, 11B of the outer side plate 7 of the first header tank 2 and a part of the intermediate plate 9 brazed on the flat part 26. A lubricating oil bypass passage 28 is formed between the outer side plate 7 and the intermediate plate 9 in the partitioning part 27. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
