PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for turning a product comprising numerous paper sheets stacked and bundled in a block or a box-shaped product in a desired direction by means of the weight of the product itself when carrying the product during a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The apparatus for turning the product in the desired direction by means of the weight of the product itself while carrying it during the manufacturing process consists of a presence sensor mechanism for detecting that the product has been carried, a holding mechanism for pinching the product and rotating it by its own weight, a rotation assist mechanism for applying assist force to the rotation of the product by the holding mechanism, an excessive rotation preventive mechanism for stopping the product at a desired angle, and a control mechanism for receiving a signal from the sensor mechanism and issuing a command for turning the product in the desired angle to the holding mechanism, the rotation assist mechanism, and the excessive rotation preventive mechanism.
