OIL-IN-WATER EMULSIONS BASED ON SPECIAL EMULSIFIERS

The present invention relates to an 0/W emulsion containing (a) at least one non-ionic emulsifier, (c) at least one anionic co-emulsif ier; (d) oil, where at least 75 weight % of the oil has a polarity of >= 20 mN/m; (e) 6 to 35 weight-% water based on the total weight of the emulsion; (f) optionally at least one consistency regulator; (g) optionally at least one humectant; whereas the total amount of emulsifiers [= (a) plus (c) ] is between 4 and 20 weight-%, preferably between 6 and 16 weight-%, based on the total weight of the emulsion. The present invention also relates to the use of the emulsion for the preparation of a cosmetic composition.
