POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL HAVING THE SAME

A polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display panel having the same are provided to prevent speckles from being formed on a substrate of the liquid crystal display panel due to static electricity by forming an antistatic film and restricting the generation of static electricity in separating a surface protection film or a release film, thereby increasing reliability of testing the liquid crystal display panel. A polarizing plate is composed of a polarizer(10) for polarizing the incident light; protection films(20,30) formed on both surfaces of the polarizer to protect the polarizer; a first antistatic film(50) formed on one of the protection films; an adhesive agent(70) applied on the first antistatic film; an optical compensation film(40) formed between the first antistatic film and the protection film; and a second antistatic film(60) formed on the other of the protection films.
