A balloon event apparatus and a method of using the same are provided to enable a user to directly burst a selected balloon which contains floating gas and gift coupons using a balloon bursting member. The balloon event apparatus includes a case(3) equipped with a withdrawal port, a balloon containing floating gas and gift coupons thereinto input to an inner portion of the case, an input portion(7) openably installed on the case to input the balloon into the inner portion of the case, a pipe(5) protruding upwardly from an upper portion of the case to use a floating pathway of the balloon which is input into the inner portion of the case, and a balloon bursting member(44) for bursting the balloon for identifying the gift coupons which are input into the balloon when the balloon floats upwardly in the inner portion of the pipe.
