<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet exhausting device capable of maintaining a good quality of images by reducing the luster striation in a toner image. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet exhausting device is structured so that each sheet heated and with a toner image fixed is pinched by a pair of exhaust rollers 42 and exhausted with rotation of the pair of exhaust rollers, wherein each roller 50 has a plurality of roller portions 52a arranged at a certain spacing in the axial direction and roller portions 52b and 52c installed between the roller portions 52a, having a middle part greater in the diameter than the roller portions 52a, and both ends reducing the diameter as approaching the roller portions 52a so as to be identical in the diameter to the roller portions 52a, while the rollers 56 of the pair of exhaust rollers are furnished with a plurality of sheet exhaust rollers 53 to make contact with the roller portions 52a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
