<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of strong noise even if a foot is removed from a pedal pressed thereby by positioning the pedal by a stopper member at a position away from an opening. SOLUTION: When a soft pedal 2 of a piano is pressed down, for example, one end 21a of a pedal lever 21 is pulled down against the urging force of a spring 6 while the other end 21b is raised and a rod 22 is pushed up. Then, when a foot pressing down the pedal 2 is removed, the one end 21a is raised by the urging force of the spring 6 and the pedal 2 is raised, and simultaneously therewith the other end 21b is lowered. In this mechanism, a stopper 7 being a stopping member is mounted at a lower part of the other ends 11b, 21b of pedal lever 11, 21. The stopper 7 is positioned at the vicinity of left side end except the center in the right and left direction of the piano so that transmission of vibrations generated when the other ends of the levers 11, 21 abut thereon strongly is remarkably reduced.</p> |
