White, heat-sealable, biaxially oriented polyester film

In white, biaxially oriented polyester film, with a base layer (B), a sealable outer layer (A) on one side and an outer layer (C) on the other side, (A) contains less than 0.03 wt.% external particles, whilst the other layers contain white pigment(s) in amounts of (B) 6-20, (C) 1-15 wt.%. An independent claim is included for production of the film by coextrusion, biaxial orientation and thermofixing.
