An information terminal equipped with a content search system is provided to enable a user to conveniently and quickly search contents with easy content access by organically combining an information searching technique and a content providing technique. A query input part(130) receives a query from the user by providing a user interface. A query analyzer(140) analyzes the received query analyzer. An information searcher(150) includes search agents(151) performing search of each type by referring to an index database(110), a search type determiner(152), a search agent manager(153) executing/managing a plurality of search agents of the determined type, and a search result output part(154). A search result display part(160) displays the search result output from the information searcher according to priority and receives a content item selected by the user through the user interface. A content provider(170) reads the contents corresponding to the selected content item from a content database and provides the read contents.
