CONTACTLESS SMARTCARD READER

A device for reading a smart card in a contactless mode is provided to enable a user to perform various kinds of banking transactions with recognized smart card information by being inserted into a smart card slot of a mobile terminal and recognizing the smart card approached to the mobile terminal in the contactless mode. An antenna connector connects to a loop antenna installed to the mobile terminal. A control logic(120) recognizes more than one contactless smart card by receiving a signal from the loop antenna and enables the information related to the recognized smart card to be output to the outside. A memory(130) stores an OS(Operating System) of the control logic. A data connector enables the information related to the smart card to be transferred/processed in the mobile terminal by control of the control logic. A packaging enables the device to be mounted in the mobile terminal.
