A cutting device for a heat insulating glass fiber is provided to cut the heat insulating glass fiber into a plurality of heat insulating glass fibers through a single cutting process. A vertical cutting unit having a plurality of vertical wire saws(1) is arranged at the center of a support body(3) formed into a rectangular parallelepiped frame such that the vertical cutting unit reciprocates in a vertical direction. A horizontal heat insulating glass fiber fixing frame(6) has an open top surface, both sides with heat insulating glass fiber side support plates(4), and a bottom surface with a penetration gap through which the vertical wire saws pass. The horizontal heat insulating glass fiber fixing frame is arranged on the support body such that the horizontal heat insulating glass fiber fixing frame is movable in a lengthwise direction. |
