A plasma display device is provided to reduce power consumption of the display device by collecting and reusing a surplus voltage at a voltage input terminal of a switching element. A plasma display device includes a PDP(Plasma Display Panel,200), drivers(201,202,203), and a voltage collecting unit. Electrodes are formed on the PDP. The drivers include a switching element and supply a predetermined driving voltage to the electrodes for driving the switching element. The switching element is switched on/off to supply a predetermined driving voltage to the electrodes. The voltage collecting unit is formed at a control voltage input terminal of the switching element and collects a surplus voltage at the control voltage input terminal.
