FIELD: threaded connection unit, containing external part with internal thread and internal with external thread connected to the former. ^ SUBSTANCE: the unit with threaded connection between carbon electrode with socket and internal thread made on it, and carbon connecting pin with external thread for connection of two electrodes, contains external part made of synthetically produced coal or graphite and having internal thread, internal part, made of synthetically produced coal or graphite and having external thread. Internal and external threads have thread coils with basically same step, base and point, and individual thread coils having basically V-shaped profile. At least one of internal and external threads is made with wedge-like inclined surface on aforementioned base, and when aforementioned internal and external parts are screwed together, point sections of one part are in contact with wedge-like inclined surface on the base of the other part. Internal and external threads are both conical threads, in which threaded connection is a line of contact between thread points of thread of one part, on one side, and wedge-like inclined surface on base of thread coil of other part, on other side. ^ EFFECT: prevented weakening of threaded connection. ^ 2 cl, 7 dwg |
