A method for storing a moving picture file in a camera phone is provided to connect the camera phone with a computer and store moving picture data received in the camera phone in a memory region of the computer to broaden a range of an image service in the camera phone. A control unit of a camera phone displays an image inputted through a camera on a display unit of a camera phone(202,204). If a certain key is pressed(206), the control unit generates the displayed image as a moving picture file(208). The control unit stores the generated moving picture file in a certain storing region of the camera phone(210). The control unit transmits the stored moving picture file to an external device including a computer in response to the file transmission request of a user. The external device stores the moving picture file transmitted from the camera phone in a predetermined memory. |
