The invention relates to the shipbuilding, in particular to the design of hulls of the ship on air cushion. A ship contains a hull, which includes a pontoon and a superstructure, with onboard walls and upper deck with assigned profile both in transverse and longitudinal directions. Onboard walls of superstructure in the middle lengthwise part are flat, and in the nose and rear portions they are cylindrical with rectilinear generatrixes. The upper deck of superstructure in the stern section is flat throughout entire width and is located in parallel to the reference plane of vessel. In other sections the deck takes the shape of broken three-edged surface with two broken lines located symmetrically relative to the axial plane of vessel. The flat face of deck of average width has in the transverse crosscuts of hull the shape of straight linesparallel to reference plane. The onboard flat faces of the broken three-edged surface of deck have in the cross sections the shape of straight lines inclined toward the reference plane at identical sharp angle. The optimum values of the relationships between the overall dimensions of the individual sections of external surfaces of hull and the angles of their inclination to the reference planes of vessel are given. The invention contributes to increase of the technological effectiveness of hull of the ship on air cushion and to decrease of its aerodynamic drag.
