A device for sowing vegetable crops contains a frame of a sowing section with supporting wheels, whereon a seed tank, a coulter containing a post, a furrow-opener, cheeks, a seed tube arranged between them and a seed-depressing roller are mounted. The furrow-opener is made of resilient steel as a removable knife, arranged in front of the flanges of the coulter with an acute angle of entry into soil. The seed tube from below is provided with a rhomb-shaped seed distributor. The seed-depressing roller is made as a hollow one with radial spokes and is installed behind the seed distributor in the inner hollow of the cheeks. A rear supporting wheel has the operation width larger than the width of a drill furrow to provide compacting the side walls of the furrows from above.
