A shock absorber is provided to maintain a low damping force by regulating the amount of working fluid through an auxiliary valve controlling the flow of the working fluid. A shock absorber includes a cylinder(110), a piston rod(120), a valve(130), and an auxiliary valve(150). A working fluid is accommodated in the interior of the cylinder. One end of the piston rod is inserted into one side of the cylinder and the other end thereof is withdrawn to the outside of the cylinder. The valve is installed in the interior of the cylinder to divide the cylinder. The valve controls the flow of the working fluid. The auxiliary valve controls the flow of the working fluid.
