LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MODULE AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

An LCD module and a method of driving the same are provided to prevent BIST(Built-In Self Test) patterns from being displayed on a liquid crystal panel by controlling a BIST enable signal in a BIST option pin of a timing controller. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module includes a liquid crystal panel(50), a panel driver, and a timing controller(40). The liquid crystal panel displays images. The panel driver drives the liquid crystal panel. The timing controller includes a BIST option pin(BP) and controls the panel driver. The BIST option pin controls a BIST mode of the timing controller in response to a BIST enable signal from the outside. The BIST option pin is set into a BIST enable mode in response to the BIST enable signal in an aging operation and into a BIST disable mode by floating a signal line for supplying the BIST enable signal in a normal operation.
