<p>An instant service method for DRR(Deficit Round Robin) data packet scheduling is provided to minimize transmission delay of data packets by servicing a data packet nearly at the activation time of a newly activated flow. A main control part services the first flow by forwarding a data packet corresponding to the first flow, activated at present, to a discharge part through an active list processing part according to scheduling(S302). If a new flow, as a new data packet is inputted from the external, is activated in the middle of serving the first flow, the main control part inserts the new flow into link list information, stored in a specific area of a packet memory, as a flow of the next order(S304,S306). Then, the main control part stores information on the new flow in a flow information storage part. If service of the first flow is completed(S308), the main control part controls the active list processing part so that the new service flow can be serviced in the next order(S310). If service of the new flow is completed, the main control part confirms the next flow pointer among information of the new flow and controls the active list processing part so that the second service flow can be serviced(S312).</p> |
