METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES OF THE MUCOUS COAT OF THE ANTRAL PART OF THE STOMACH IN DUODENAL ULCER THAT IS CHARACTERISTIC FOR STUDENTS

The proposed method for diagnosing morphological changes of the mucous coat of the antral part of the stomach in duodenal ulcer that is characteristicfor students consists in determining the content of gastrin 17 and peptide in the blood serum of the patient. If the content of gastrin is increased as compares with the normal content, nonatrophic active antral gastritis is diagnosed. If the content of peptide is decreased as compared with the normal content or the content in patients with nonatrophic active antral gastritis, the presence and development of the atrophic changes of the mucous coat.
