A plasma display device is provided to prevent erroneous discharges by reliably removing excessive wall charges from discharge cells. A plasma display device includes a driver, which alternately applies a sustain pulse to first and second electrodes. The driver adjusts the falling time of a final sustain pulse in one sub-field to be longer than the falling time of the sustain pulse, which is applied before the final sustain pulse. The falling time of the sustain pulse applied before the final sustain pulse lies between 480ns and 600ns. The falling time of the final sustain pulse lies between 1mus and 2mus. The falling time of the final sustain pulse is 1.5mus.
