This invention provides a driving belt which is excellent in dynamic adhesion and heat resistant adhesion during driving upon repeated flexing and upon heating around an engine, as well as in heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and abnormal noise preventive properties. The driving belt comprises an adhesive rubber layer comprises core wires buried along the longitudinal direction of the belt and a compressive rubber layer stacked on the inner side of the adhesive rubber layer. The adhesive rubber layer and the compressive rubber layer have been vulcanization-bonded to each other. The adhesive rubber layer and the compressive rubber layer are formed of an ethylene-E-olefin-diene rubber blend. The diene content of the ethylene-E-olefin-diene rubber in the adhesive rubber layer is not less than the diene content of the ethylene-E-olefin-diene rubber in the compressive rubber layer. The diene content of the ethylene-E-olefin-diene rubber in the adhesive rubber layer is 3.5 to 10% by mass, and the diene content of the ethylene-E-olefin-diene rubber in the compressive rubber layer is 0 to 6% by mass.
