A manufacturing method of a sound absorbing member is provided to maximize sound absorbing efficiency and to heighten the strength of a sound absorbing member by manufacturing with lightweight aggregate. The manufacturing method of a sound absorbing member comprises the steps of: pouring lightweight aggregate paste in a box(11) and distributing evenly in the box with a primary vibration source(14) and a secondary vibration source(16), and applying pressure to a mold(12) primarily with a pressure source(15); and pouring lightweight aggregate paste in the primarily pressurized lightweight aggregate paste and applying pressure secondarily.
