The invention relates to the metallurgy of ferrous metals, in particular to the methods for heat treatment of low-carbon low-alloyed steels. A method involves heating of steel in the preliminary heated furnace to the temperature of As1+(40-60 DEGREE C), maintaining 40-90 min, subsequent heating at the rate not less than 250-300 DEGREE C /hour to the temperature of the tempering, which is equal to As3+(40-60 DEGREE C), subsequent maintaining during not more than 40-60 s on 1 mm of cross section, cooling in water or in water to 400 DEGREE C and in air, low-temperature tempering. The proposed method provides the increased level of strengthening, plastic properties and impact resistance.
