ATTACHING CONTROL UNIT FOR DETECTION OF A TRANSMISSION SELECTOR LEVER POSITION

An attaching control unit for detecting a gear selection lever position is provided to consider and remove mis-match of a gear selection lever shaft in an offset of the gear selection lever shaft or a housing base thereof. An attaching control unit(10) controls an automatic transmission. The attaching control unit includes a gear selection lever(20) which is arranged on a gear selection lever shaft(18). A position of the gear selection lever is detected by a sensor(24). The attaching control unit further includes a cover(12) and a base plate(16). The gear selection lever shaft is protruded to a detection opening(48) of the attaching control unit. The detection opening is formed at the base plate of the attaching control unit.
