An assembly for ventilating and air-conditioning of a driving compartment (1) of a motor vehicle comprises a casing (5) having at least one intake port (6) for air and at least one exhaust port (12) opening into said compartment for air entering the casing through said intake port. The assembly comprises a draining arrangement for removing liquid from the casing emanating from cooling of air by evaporator means (13) or liquid contained in the air entering the casing through the intake port. This arrangement has means adapted to collect liquid in a liquid column above the outlet openings by means of the negative air pressure prevailing thereabove. |
