A method for driving a mobile media player having improved performance and a recording medium recording the method are provided to simultaneously play a plurality of moving picture thumbnails in mobile environment, continuously play a plurality of contents received through a streaming type, and connecting to a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) page without additionally popping up an Internet browser. N contents including multimedia data are simultaneously set up(110). Data frames of a certain size are successively received within a uniform time from the respective n contents(120). The received n data frames are decoded and displayed(130). After the receiving operation pauses just after the data frame is received from one contents, operation for receiving the data frame from next contents is repeated and the n data frames are received within the uniform time.
