The invention concerns metallurgy, in particular methods for nickel covering application on different materials. A methods for nickel covering application on metallic and non-metal materials by the chemical deposition of nickel from solution, that contains the nickel acetate with concentration between 10 and 500 g/l and reducing agent sodium hypophosphite. The use of the invention allows to increase process productivity of nickelling and to get nickel covering with high adhesion to the surface of materials.
