An apparatus for compressing and fixing a pile thread in a knitting machine is provided to elastically shrink a rubber ring and to contact the rubber ring to the circumference surface of an original fiber fixing disc. A cutting file is weaved by means of a latch needle(21) moved up and down at a cylinder(20) and a knife needle(31) moved forward and backward on a dial(30). An insertion groove(100) is integrally formed at the circumference of the dial and has a concave semi-circle shape at the side view. A rubber ring(300) is inserted into the insertion groove and protruded toward the outside and contacted and contracted with an original fiber fixing disc(50). A separation prevention jaw(200) is located at the end of the insertion groove, extended toward the outside and prevents the separation of the rubber ring from the insertion groove when the original fiber fixing disc and the rubber ring are contacted with each other. |
