A heat exchanger and an air conditioner having the same are provided to carry out coating of cooling fins by porous materials for reducing boundary surface contact angles of moisture, thereby obtaining defrosting effect. A heat exchanger comprises pipes through which refrigerant flows, and cooling fins(51) mounted around the pipes for heat exchange between the refrigerant and atmospheric air, wherein the cooling fins are coated with porous materials(52) for forming a plurality of fine air pores(53) at contact portions between the cooling fins and the porous materials to incur capillary phenomena. The porous materials are 5-10mum, and the cooling fins coated with the porous materials have a thickness of 30-60mum. |
