A screen calibration method of a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal which performs the method are provided to perform an automatic focusing function for preventing an object from being continuously shaken when the object to be focused is set by a user, thereby automatically calibrating a screen. A moving picture photographing process is initiated by using a camera module of a mobile communication terminal(101). An object to be focused is set by a user(102). An automatic focusing function is carried out for the set object(103). If the object is out of a screen, a warning message is displayed and notified to the user(104,105).
