The proposed method for determining the distribution of electron concentration in ionospheric plasma with height and time under conditions with the instable gain of the radar consists in determining, within the specified time intervals, the fluctuations of the power of the noise signal at the output of the radar receiver (the signal that corresponds to cosmic noise), comparing the values obtained with the reference value, and using the comparisonresults for correcting the radar gain. The proposed method is distinctive by its enhanced accuracy.
