The invention relates to a geometrically-shaped sphere made of solid materials and destined for church bell percussion or related embodiments. The invention -the percussion element of which is a sphere (÷)-constitutes an innovative step since -compared to the known manners of direct or indirect bell percussion during which the percussion element impacting against the point of the bell T (fig. 1&2) is mechanically coupled to the ensemble of the common piston percussion mechanism- the direct point percussion (sphere ÷) is completely free of any mechanical coupling with whatever solid body throughout percussion so that the sound pulse energy is not absorbed and the natural sound of the bell remain unaltered. |
