Shaft furnace for lime curing has metal frame lined with refractory material arranged of three zones: cooling zone, curing zone and heating zone, smoke suction for exhaust gases, gas duct. The furnace is equipped with smoke suction unit for exhaust gases arranged as C-like box that is installed in horizontal position outside in the upper part of the body of the furnace, with three rigidly connected rectangular suction branch pipes for exhaust gases that are uniformly and radially placed in cross-section at angle 120 DEGREE one with respect to another. Each of branch pipes goes to inside of the furnace through the body and lining of the shaft, and with the other end inner part with opening it is rigidly connected to placed vertically cylindrical section of charge distributor, at that the central part of C-like box is connected to placed vertically outside the shaft of the furnace smoke suction unit.
