A method for reserving RAM data is provided to reserve the RAM data during battery exchange even if power supplied from the battery is cut off by generating a reference data which is linked with ram data whenever the ram data is changed. Reference data linked with each data changed whenever the data stored in a RAM is changed is generated(S100). The data and the reference data are reserved in the RAM(S110). If the power is supplied again after the power supplied to the RAM is cut off for a predetermined time to exchange the battery, the data reserved in the RAM is identical with the reference data. If the data is identical with the reference data, the data is determined as the normal data and is kept in the RAM(S130). If the data is not identical with the reference data, the data is determined as the abnormal data and is replaced with preset initial data(S140).
