<p>New cpds. of formula: (where R = heterocyclic or carbocyclic aromatic ring with >=1 phenolic OH substituent, R1, R2, R3 = H, R4 = H or 1-4C alkyl, n = 1, 2 or 3) are used to improve cohesion and adhesion of epoxy resin adhesives and as biocides. Pref. cpds. are 2,6-bis-(N-azinidinomethyl) -4-(methyl or t-butylphenol and 2,6-bis-(N-propyleniminomethyl)-4-methylphenol.</p> |
