A pharmaceutical composition comprising TEM7(tumor endothelial marker 7) and nidogen as effective ingredients is provided to promote nerve regeneration by increasing cell spreading, promoting neurite outgrowth and inducing regenerative exon growth. The pharmaceutical composition for promoting nerve regeneration comprises nidogen and TEM7 as a receptor of nidogen as effective ingredients, wherein the TEM7 and nidogen are cloned by performing RT-PCR(reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) of mRNA(messenger RNA) isolated from the mouse brain by using primers of SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:2, and SEQ ID NO:3 and SEQ ID NO:4, respectively.
