A server for registering multimedia contents is provided to offer a WBB(Wireless Bulletin Board) service using an MMS by simultaneously performing a role of the MMS and an MMBBS(Multimedia Message Bulletin Board System) through a process for retransmitting a multimedia message to other MMS agents simultaneously with registering the multimedia message to the MMBBS. A system includes the MMS agents(120), an MMSE(Multimedia Message Service Environment) comprising a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) gateway, an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(125), an MMSC(MMS Center)(130), and a mail server(155), and a MMS bulletin board server(100). The MMS bulletin board server includes the MMBBS(105) connected to a wired/wireless environment through an MMSE and the Internet. The MMBBS comprises a bulletin board(115) and an MMSP(Multimedia Message Service Package)(110) linked with a WIMC(Wireless Inter Message Center)(140) embedded in the MMSC of the MMSE. The MMSP connects the bulletin board to the WIMC of the MMSC. |
